I always Marveled at how all of the other super-powered characters took the Silver Surfer perfectly seriously. I mean, part of his super-power was a Cosmic-Power-channeling surf board. It's flabbergasting to me how this wasn't laughed off the pages. But there he is... one of Marvel's most enduring characters. I tried it in my strip, and he barely lasted five days.
