Math Fail

Thank you to everyone who took the time out to give me a little math tutoring this morning!

What's really funny is that this was a real-life situation in which I tried to help my third-grader, and pointed him in the wrong direction. I hadn't actually pulled the 13th-floor thing, but I did assume that the ground floor was "Lobby" and the next floor up was the First Floor. Which was wrong. My son spent the rest of the day glowering at me for making him get his math homework wrong. Which was nothing compared to the shellacking I took in my Inbox this morning!

Actually, you guys were -- as usual -- incredibly polite, as you proceeded to try to coach me through third-grade math. Now... anyone wanna help me with my taxes?
