Hey, Brad. This is a bit of information regarding the 3/18/2011 Evil Inc. strip. Unlike Superman, Spider-Man, Hobgoblin, and the Green Hornet, Captain Marvel's alter ego, Billy Batson, never worked for a newspaper. He worked for a radio (& later TV) station called WHIZ. I'm almost certain [google.com] that Billy Batson worked as a paperboy. :)

Billy was a newsboy, but only in the first issue of Whiz Comics. By the end of the story, Sterling Morris had given Billy a job as a "radio announcer" at Station WHIZ. Freddy Freeman, a.k.a. Captain Marvel Junior, remained a newsboy.
