So it all started with a smart-aleck idea to offer
Evil Inc-themed holiday cards.
Harmless, right?
By the way, those babies were a tremendous success, thanks to your awesome support! I'll be definitely offering cards again next year -- and earlier.
Anyway, everything was hunky-dorey. Then I opened my Inbox yesterday morning and found out that I had, once again, been instrumental in instigating unrest.
My sister thought it would be hilarious to read the "Top Ten Reasons Why Santa is a Super Villain" card to my 5yo nephew.
When he asked if Santa was a villain, she said yes.
Then the next morning, when he asked where the chocolate chip cookies (that she had eaten the night before) were, she shrugged. When he asked if Villain Santa took them, she thought he was kidding and said. "Yeah, Villain Santa took them."
As you can imagine, the kid is traumatized now. He's sure that Villain Santa is out to get him.
He won't even go into the bathroom without checking behind the shower curtain and he's back to being afraid of the dark.
How much would it cost to get a sketch of super villain Santa pulling off a mask and revealing the Grinch. Or real Santa taking Villain Santa away?
And how long would it take?
I've already told him that the card was just silly and that Santa is a good guy, but he's not buying it. After all Villain Santa took his cookies.
Thank you for any help.

So I quoted my standard commission price and worked out some details. A few hours later, I had the illustration done and ready to ship.
Hopefully that kid can take a shower again.
If you've been traumatized too (or if you need a cool gift idea) feel free to
drop me a line. I'm sure we can work something out.
