LIVE... from Emerald City... It's Webcomics Weekly!

Thursday, April 09, 2009 - 12:00 AM

While we were at Emerald City Comic Con, the Halfpixel crew taped another live podcast. This time, our audience was estimated at about 450, and we spoke about everything from webcomics basics to copyright to the benefits of self-publishing.

Since there were a large number of webcomics newbies in the crowd, we covered a lot of the basics, but we also found time to get into things like long-form comics on the Web and contracts.

We'll have the podcast-only version posted soon at the Webcomics Weekly site.
Until then you can watch it here.

Brad -

It was great to have you up here in the great Northwest! I was glad to see all of the folks stopping by your booth; the turnout was amazing. Glad you were able to find Ipanema - last time I went there I ended up in a meat coma for 3 days. MMMMmmmmmmmm.... endless meat..... .

I think I got to meet just about every vendor and guest at the con and I have to say you guys (Half-Pixel) were just about the nicest I met. All four of you took time to chat, sign, and even offer free sketches to everyone. We could't ask for any more.

We need to hear a story or two about the costume contest. I saw a couple of costumes that, well, let's just say (Ms. Marvel) if your butt is as wide as your shoulders you shouldn't be wearing a one-piece baithing suit as a costume.

Thanks to you and the entire Half-Pixel crew!

Keep the comics coming on-time, thanks for the Elvis Stan Lee, and talk to Millholland about joining the Half Pixel crew would ya!

Doug

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
