We're planning to do a fan meet-up at a nearby restaurant Saturday night -- similar to the one Kris and I threw at Harvard -- so if you'd like to come along and have dinner with Dave, Kris and I and a throng of Halfpixel fans, post an RSVP in the comment section below or drop me an e-mail. We'll probably walk to the mall near the hotel and hit a restaurant there.My wife and I will are planning to be at the Con Saturday, although Anime is not quite my thing I am helping her chaperone the high school Anime Club she oversees to the convention.

Sadly since we are playing the roles of responsible adults for the day (it’s a rare thing let me tell you!) we will not be able to take part in the fan meet up that evening since we will have to return the kids to their parents. My suggestion of simply setting them lose in DC and seeing if the young suburbanites actually made it home was thoroughly shot down. I think it would have been a cool social experiment.
Out of curiosity is there anything going on Friday night? We will be coming down to pick up the kids badges for Saturday.
