Mighty Overlord Brad made our first event in Moorsetown a success, and we're holding another one. The overlord can't make it to this one, but we're hoping that any of you in the Philadelphia/South New Jersey Area will find the time to attend.

Heroes For Heroes Project at The Comic Book Store

Glassboro, NJ November 15th, 2008

Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion's Northeast Remnant and Kamino Squad will be visiting The Comic Book Store on Saturday, November 15th from noon-5pm. Local NJ comics artists Hidulfo Fernandez and Dan Ramey will be there signing and sketching original artwork, with all proceeds used to buy and ship comics and graphic novels to our troops overseas as part of the Heroes For Heroes Project. Spend time with your favorite Star Wars characters and local comic book pros, ask questions, get autographs, and pick up a 501st Legion activity book, and one-of-a-kind original comics artwork created right before your eyes! Make sure to bring your camera and feel free to come in costume too! Most importantly, help us send a gift of thanks to America’s men and women in uniform this coming holiday season.

As a further incentive, The Comic Book Store will be holding a special one-day sale during the event, where you can purchase new comics to donate to the troops at 30% off regular price, and receive 30% off your entire purchase (up to $100) with the purchase and donation of a new graphic novel.

Event location:
The Comic Book Store
30 North Main St
Glassboro, NJ 08028
(About five blocks from Rowan University, next to Angelo’s Diner)

About the Heroes For Heroes Project:

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
