Baltimore Comic Con: Webcomics Panel

Monday, September 29, 2008 - 09:57 AM

From Baltimore...

Kurtz asked the nebulous question, "What are webcomics?" and answered it himself, saying "Webcomics are found in caves, right next to gems and guarded by hobbits."

A group of fans joined the panel already in progress, and brought an interpreter for the hearing-impaired along with them. Kurtz, quick on the uptake, remarked, "So this lady up front is doing sign language, so anything I say she has to sign.

"Poopie pants."

Check out video from the panel.

Man that panel was great! It was funny and informative and was just like sitting in on a Web Comics Weekley! (I may have mentioned that once or twice during the convention)

I have to say as funny as you and the Half Pixel gang are Brad (and you are incredibly funny)…everything is funnier when Sign Language interpreters show up. Seriously I think I am going to hire a few to come to my next party.

It was great to see you again and to chat. Cathy and I love the sketch you did in our Annual Report Volume 3 book and the group sketch you did with the other guys is awesome! I love Miss Match in the Star Trek uniform! I hope you had fun at the convention as well!
