Here is a very simple solution:
Slap the VERTIGO imprint on it, end of "problem".

POLL: Forget the batarang, Batgirl switches to F-bombs...in Comics by GuigarMonday, September 15, 2008 - 12:05 AM
A printing mistake that reveals several obscene words in the comic book. It has text where Batgirl tells a group of bad guys "Text every friend you've got, s---heads," and "Sell your poison somewhere else. This here arcade belongs to the f---ing Batgirl," reports the New York Post. "A printing gaffe has caused a problem with All Star Batman, as soon as the problem was discovered, we quickly asked retailers to pull the issue, we apologize to our retailers and fans for any offense or inconvenience," Fox News quoted a DC Comics spokesperson, as saying in a statement. DC comics spokesman revealed swear words were supposed to have been blacked out, but two shades of black were used and the expletives are clearly legible. DC Comics was able to stop some shipments, and has asked retailers who got copies to destroy them. POLL: Batgirl... swearing...?

All joking aside, this issue will be worth BANK. I'm gonna try and find one today; "first appearance of bitchy batgirl". ComiCon 2015, here I come! posted Monday, September 15, 2008 - 09:52 PM (#44770)
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this, but... While I'm not a HUGE comic collector, I don't think I've EVER seen a comic with swear-words 'blacked out'. I've only ever seen comics deal with swearing one of three ways: Actual swearing. Swear words replaced with less offensive ones (I'm freaking Batgirl) Gibberish symbols...the old "@$#%!!!" method. Like I said, I could be completely wrong and just never seen this before...but this smells a little bit like a publicity stunt to me...not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Batman fans rushing to get their hands on an instant collector's item. Am I right or totally off target here? posted Tuesday, September 16, 2008 - 12:21 PM (#44782)
In Response to Paulius (#44770):
If it weren't for the fact that the United States Government has screwed up redacting documents in the same exact way I would agree with you. And I mean the same exact way that not realizing that black text on black background doesn't necessarily render the text unreadable.
