POLL: Functionality: Text-message updates?

Post Comic Con, I've been looking at a few ways of making this site more functional for readers. I have several items on the table. One of the options I have open to me is a free service through which people can sign up to get a text message sent to their cell phone every time the comic and blog updates.

I use bloglines to get the rss of about 25 comics, and I check it every morning. And even if I got a text, I'd be likely to just wait until morning anyways~

Great Idea, but unless there were more time-sensitive messages, it wouldn't do me too much good. ^.^

I don't text much myself -- mostly in replies to my son, a Marine who's stationed back of beyond. So I pay for texting as I don't have a plan for it.
