Comic Dish Guest Co-Host, Part 2

Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - 12:00 AM

As an added bonus (or is it additional punishment?), I also did another guest co-host stint with Comic Dish. We discussed the How To Make Webcomics book (and the fallacy of my trying to kill my co-authors) and do a quick glance across the comic-book landscape. Sam Charette makes the mistake of mentioning someone who didn't plan to buy the HTMW book and pays for it by sitting through the long tirade that ensued. You can partake in the madness here.

Hey, I listened to this the other day! It was fun to listen to you get on about that other co-host not getting the book, but being that he works for Disney I understand his timidness. However, you're right... if he wants to actually work on his webcomic (which it doesn't sound like he's doing now) then the book would be helpful to him. I think its more a matter of if he wants to or not. I know its helping me so far!

Also, the whole 10 minutes of how to make a lightdesk or use a window even was one of the better tangents I've heard on a podcast in a while.

Thanks! I have to go back to "The Everything Cartooning Book," I think I covered converting an old scanner into a lightbox in there somewhere...

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
