Q: My boyfriend and I have been having some problems lately and he's been seeing a therapist lately. He recently came back from a session and said that he’s been talking with his shrink about how we got serious too fast. He wants to have a "courtship period" where we go on dates and don’t sleep together. He thinks this help him know if our relationship has marriage potential. I think this is ridiculous. We’ve been dating for over a year and have been having sex that whole time. Do you think we’re taking a step backwards?
