Who is Dark Hood?

A round-up of the unusual suspects and the odds of their being the mysterious Dark Hood

Capt. Heroic: 2-1 Dark Hood's actions are incredibly convenient to Captain Heroic's plans to save Evil Inc. The fact that they are the exact same weight and height makes this a very real possibility. Cap is certainly the odds-on favorite in this race.

Evil Atom: 10-1 He would have had to lose an awful lot of weight to fit into the Dark Hood costume, but several people think that this new, mysterious villain is actually a new, slimmed-down Evil Atom. Vegas oddsmakers frown on the idea, but haven't ruled it out completely. It would certainly explain the presence of an enigmatic silhouette in this arc.

Dr. Haynus: 50-1 The bet, here, is not that Haynus is Dark Hood -- rather, the bet is that he (and Louise) are behind it. They've got something brewing. But they seem to be as perplexed by the new villain as everyone else. Alert readers, however, have noticed that Dr. Haynus and Dark Hood share the same initials.

Lightning Lady: 100-1 The Lightning Lady bet is an official scratch ever since they've been seen working together. No one belives she could have hidden that figure under the Dark Hood costume anyway. Scratched, too, are Comander Heroic and Wingman. Although no one really witnessed the altercation between DH and Wingman, did they?

Keagan Newbourne: 100-1 Lightning Lady's live-in boyfriend has a super-villain past. He posed as a bad guy once to help her out. He might be doing it again to save her place of employment.

Nick O'Tyme: 200-1 Before falling in love with Keagan, Lightning Lady had a torrid affari with fanboy Nick O'Tyme. As it turned out, Nick had a little super-villain streak, too.

The Unholy Mackeral: 500-1 One super-villain who has gone largely unmentioned in this debate is the imminently forgettable Unholy Mackeral. Lightning Lady met UM at a super-villain 12-step program. The Mackeral has even showed enough interest in LL to try to stage an intervention on her behalf.

Dark Hood: 1000-1 What if the Dark Hood is... well... the Dark Hood? What if he's a completely original super-villain who happened to show up at the right time at the right place? Longtime readers of both Greystone Inn and Evil Inc -- who have seen seemingly inconsequential background characters spring to the foreground -- know that the liklihood of this is very slim. Of course, we never did learn the identity of this guy, so anything is possible.
