New Courting Disaster Question

There's a new question on the Courting Disaster Web site.

I have a girlfriend of Syrian heritage. Generally speaking I don't exactly qualify as the ideal boyfriend according to her parents. She is old enough to make her own decisions but fears what they might think or do. A year in the relationship and her parents still don't know I exist. Any advise on how to proceed?
