This week's question:
My relationship with my boyfriend has always been very close and positive. Over last summer, I had to stay at my usual multi-week summer job a few states away. An old friend of mine decided that she had feelings for boyfriend, and decided, knowing the relationship between us was not open, "to try." His rejecting her caused a cascade of hurt relations and trust issues between us and several old (high school) friends of ours. She still is "trying" on a more subtle level, and still getting rejected.
It's putting a large damper on my ability to make friends in our college area, and I feel like both BF and I get jealous of the new friends each other is making, but are otherwise doing well. I feel horrible still, what should I do? --Still Hurts
