I probably did more commissioned sketches at New York Comic Con than I did at any other show this year. Round about Sunday morning, I got a commission to do a portrait of Captain Heroic and his entire family. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I might release it as a full-color desktop wallpaper once I get a chance. Special thanks to ArchHenchman, Salem, for sending along a scan of the original! From the Greystone Archive: Halloween

I told you about the Transylvania University / Rafinesque storyline. In 2004, I revisited the story with a sequel. I failed to capture the lightning of the first story, but it was still an awfully good story. It stands up pretty well as the first appearance of Mac's father, who was my homage to the Van Helsing character created by Bram Stoker. My apologies to those of you who have already read the Rafinesque storyline from the Greystone Inn archives I've been promoting this month.
