Comic Con 2007: Convention Report Part 2
The best part of any comic convention for me is alwys meeting people -- whether they're regular readers of the strip or newcomers. Here's a few who were nice enough to pose for me.As always, click on the photos to see full-sized pixelly goodness.
Just a word about that guy on the right. His name is David Oakes, and he's a longtime reader of Evil Inc. He's also an avid LEGO enthusiast. David has made Evil-Inc-themed LEGOs in the past, and I was thrilled to see him in San Diego -- with some newly created additions to the series. He makes all of these figures by hand, altering and painting existing LEGO pieces. You can see a gallery of his word here. In the photo to the right, you can see Captain Heroic, Miss Match and Dr, Haynus (in the jar in front of Miss Match.
And, yes, that good-looking LEGO to Cap's left, in the VILF shirt, is me. I've been LEGOed! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a date with LEGO Harley Quinn...
