Evil Inc Theme Song

Evil Inc Theme Song

If there's one thing that this comic has been lacking, it's a decent theme song. I've long coveted Kristofer Straub's theme-song accomplishments, so when the immensely talented Gary Bloom offered to craft a song for Evil Inc, I didn't hesitate.

So, without further ado... the Theme Song from Evil Inc, by Gary Bloom.

Gary Bloom, as a musician, has roots stretching from jazz and blues, through classic rock, and still manages to pick up influences from today's newer artists. Subscribing to the philosophy that there are great musicians in every genre, Gary has taken influence from a broad range of musicians, including the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, The Killers, Three Doors Down, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Metallica. The broad range of influences adds a distinctly different flavor to the music, with multiple styles merging within each song. The music of Gary Bloom is like a trip through musical history, spanning from the beginning of the 60s to the end of last week.

Gary can now be seen playing live with his band Beyond The Wall. BTW is a collection of like minded musicians, all driven to deliver a brand of music that blends introspective lyrics, balanced melodies, and technically talented musicians whose emotion weighs just as heavily as their abilities.

You can find out more about Gary Bloom at Tiny Blue Music and at his Myspace page. Show him a little love, people.

Wizard World Philly Neighbors

Wizard World Philly Neighbors

Howdy neighbors! Take a look at my cool neighborhood!

Sitting on one side is talented penciller Yvel Guichet. Among a great many fine projects, Yvel is the penciller on Dark Horse's ArchEnemies. ArchEnemies is about a superhero and his nemesis who are secretly roommates. Gee, does this sound like my kind of comic or what? Check out Yvel's site. Great stuff

And on the other side is Angus Oblong. If you're a fan of the cult TV hit The Oblongs (currently a part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim), you'll recognize Angus.

And right across the aisle (if I'm reading my floor plan correctly) the ultra-talented Raven Gregory.
