And now, for your moment of Zen, here's a 911-call from a woman who wants police dispatched to the fast food restaurant that keeps getting her order wrong.

Snopes has labeled it as "Undetermined." From their site: "...we called the Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) and spoke to a couple of folks at the Public Affairs Office. They were a bit busy to speak with us at length (evidently matters such as homicides and escaped prisoners take priority over media inquiries about irate fast food patrons), but they told us the recording is an actual call that was handled by an OCSD dispatcher about two years ago."

Laying out 52

Newarama has an excellent interview with Keith Giffen, who has been doing the layouts for the weekly comic, 52. There are a few fascinating before-and-after shots. If you enjoy a peak behind the scenes, then you're going to enjoy it.

In case you needed one more reminder of why you stopped reading newspaper comics a long time ago, here's another:

United Media is sending an alert to editors who work at newspapers that carry Pearls Before Swine informing them that there will be some mild profanity in the strip two-and-a-half weeks from now.

The phrase? "Bite me."
